Funerals

The death of a loved one is always a difficult time.

When it happens in a country whose customs and regulations you may be less familiar with, it can be a daunting prospect.

Your funeral will be in safe hands and you will have the peace you need to grieve.

What is a funeral celebrant?

A funeral celebrant is someone qualified to host and officiate funeral services. As well as conducting the funeral itself, celebrants are involved in planning the order of service, music, writing the tribute and creating a meaningful service for the person who has died. Celebrants generally aim to create services that celebrate a person’s life, as well as providing an opportunity to say goodbye.

Civil celebrants are flexible in their approach and can conduct semi-religious, non-religious or spiritual funerals. Religious poems, readings, music and prayers can be included if requested. Celebrants conduct funerals in non-denominational locations including crematorium and cemetery chapels, natural burial places like woodlands or on a lake, or rented meeting venues.
