A funeral or burial ceremony costs CHF 1300. For both ceremonies (funeral ceremony preceded or followed by burial at the grave), my fee is CHF 1500.
In addition to leading the ceremony or ceremonies, my fee includes the meeting with the bereaved family to discuss the funeral, crafting the flow of the funeral and creating the script and eulogy, and time spent on organisational matters such as obtaining requisites, liaising with cemetery staff, coordinating speakers or responding to additional family requests. Costs for materials are charged separately.
Additional travel costs may also be charged, depending on the distance.
